You are a home organizer and licensed contractor, how do those go together?

I can see the home as an integrated system: layout, storage, workflow, and daily routines. I can make thoughtful physical changes that allow an organizing system to succeed. Bonus! You don't have to coordinate multiple professionals for many common home-function projects.

Will you make me throw away all my cute little jars?

No. I will not make you do anything. I can help you decide on the container or home for the things you feel have potential and want to have in your home.

What if I don't want people seeing Before & After photos of my home?

Consent is at the heart of how I operate. I will not share photos of your personal space unless you ask me to or I have received permission from you. Information about you and your home are kept confidential. 

How do you know how to do this stuff?

I was born with the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) spirit. Growing up, weekends spent yard sale shopping with Mom informed my perspective of value and life cycles of "things." Weeknights learning about tools with Pop in the garage provided me with better understanding of how things are made. I learned home improvement skills from helping my parents flip houses, watching a lot of HGTV, reading Domino magazine, working in real estate, being a homeowner, and learning alongside contractors working on residential remodel projects.
